About:
“Dicey Concepts and Manifestos” are vanguard concepts that refuse leadership roles. Dicey concepts are in the public domain – they can be produced, used and altered by anybody and everybody.
Vanguard concepts are windows and mirrors, depending on the lighting conditions. They inhabit a space of speculative historiography and are not mature but ripe to become future. They serve to destabilize the terrorism of a totalitarian presence. That means, they are instruments of imagination and tools for situated analysis.
Manifestos are expressions of their present, that break with some of that presents hegemonic ideologies that is, they break peace with the discursive structures that stabilize existing power-formations of that specific present.
Both are flimsies (Marge Piercy 1976) for the feast of political imagination. That means, they are produced and discarded with ease. They are allowed to be flamboyant, provocative, or impractical. They belong to all and to nobody, inhabit an out-law landscape.
